Cayman Islands Red Cross Since 1961 the Cayman Islands Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies through the power of volunteers. We accomplish this lifesaving work through the generosity of the nearly 300 volunteers who give of their time and talent to help people in need.
In 2020, our volunteers stood in the frontlines of the battle against the spread of COVID 19. They assisted with testing persons for the virus and conducted hundreds of tests a day. They manned the isolation facilities, disinfecting and delivering meals to persons in isolation. They manufactured and distributed masks to frontline workers.
On February the 25th we will hold a ceremony to commemorate the work of our dedicated volunteers and say THANK YOU!
