Through the European Union’s RESEMBID Programme, CI$350,000 has been allocated to the RISE project, which is focused on increasing resilience in the Cayman Islands community in accordance with RESEMBID's goals of helping Caribbean OCTS adapt to extreme and recurrent natural events.

The award was given to the Red Cross for its immense contribution to Caymanian society, having dedicated the last 60 years to providing invaluable services to our islands.
